OONI OF IFE’S DAUGHTER’S SUPERLATIVE WEDDING IN ILE-IFE

February 27th and 28th 2009, would linger in the hearts of indigenes of Ile-Ife as the day, when dignitaries and people from all walks of life came to celebrate with the royal family of his Imperial Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, the Ooni of Ife as he gave his beautiful daughter Adekunbi Adebola’s hand in marriage to Olajide Opawunmi in a carnival-like wedding which was all about class, grandeur and glamour.

Princess Adekunbi Adebola Sijuwade is the daughter of Oba Okunade Sijuwade and Oloori Morisola Sijuwade, she’s an Accountant based in the United States of America, while her heartthrob Olajide Ayotunde Opawunmi is the son of Deacon and Deaconess Alani Opawunmi from Oluponna in Iwo, Osun State. He’s also based in the United States of America and is an Engineer. The lovebirds met through an uncle of the bride and have been in courtship for 7 years before agreeing to seal it up this year. What Adekunbi loves most about Olajide is his charisma and kind heartedness. The starry eyed bride who couldn’t contain her happiness said it was the best time of her life. The almost speechless groom on his part says he can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

  1. There is no perfect marriage all you have to do as much as it lies in your ability is to make it work with absolute committment from you both.

  2. Dont rely on anything around but always check everything with God first. I pray that the marriage will joyfully live to see the children, gr. kids and great gr. kids. amen. be happy.
