AT ALIMA OYOFO’S CLASSY WEDDING


On the 6th of November 2009, The families of Senator Victor Kassim Isa Oyofo and late AVM Usman Muazu (rtd) had the engagement of their children Alima and Abdulmalik at the Le real Multi Purpose Hall, Plot PC4 and PC5, 8D, Victoria Garden City, Lekki/ Epe Expressway, Lagos while the wedding held on Saturday 7th November 2009 at The Landmark Village Events Centre Off Ligali Ayorinde, Oniru Estate, Lekki Lagos.

On getting to the venue of the registry which was just outside the marquee where the wedding held, one would be welcomed by Jazz Arabian inspired music which went with the theme of the wedding which bordered a bit on the Arabian wedding reception style. The DJ, DJ Deluxe has a close relationship with the bride and he personally took charge of the console himself.

The beautiful Bride Alima who wore a satin Ivory wedding dress with lacy sleeves and buttons at the back a creation of her sister Odion Oseni of Odio Mimonet was accompanied down the aisle by her father to the beautiful dainty dais which served as the registry.

The vows were perfunctorily performed by the Permanent secretary of the federal ministry of interior and marriage registry Mr. Ejimofor Thomas and Mrs. Daramola. After the exchange of rings by the couple and the Signing of the marriage register, ululations by the groom’s family rent the air as they were obviously happy that their son had gotten himself a beautiful wife.
The reception was held inside the gigantic White Arabian styled marquee with 6 peaks. The Inside of the hall was heavenly, draped and Shrouded in immaculate white drapes arching in the middle with a million fairy lights glittering across the ceiling and around the drapes. The pillars holding the roof were also shrouded in white. It had a section for the young and old and Guests had the pleasure of sitting on silver plated cedarwood Chiavari chairs which simply had white chiffon bows attached to the back with fluffy cushions. The addition of lit candles of different sizes made the white linen covered tables attractive. The Couple’s seat was the centerpiece and it was placed in the middle with beaded curtains enclosement suspended over it was simply breathtaking and their seats were clear ghost chairs.
